Garfagnana Casciana apples
Casciana apples are an old local variety. Small to medium in size, round in shape, greenish with yellow and red stripes can become red if the tree gets a lot of sun.
With a slightly acid taste, very firm pulp, can be kept long time after harvest in the fall, usually all winter.
